How to prepare for pellet delivery and unloading
Check vehicle access, pallet placement and unloading equipment before your pellet delivery. Plan the handover and protect bags from rain.

Start with the quantity and delivery postcode
Include the delivery postcode and the quantity in kilograms in your enquiry. Each bag holds 15 kg; a pallet of 67 bags contains 1005 kg of fuel. Transport planning also needs the shipment’s gross weight, including the pallet and packaging, which is confirmed separately.
You do not need to choose a carrier or vehicle yourself. Pelletia prepares an offer for your order. Transport arrangements and the delivery date require confirmation.
Check vehicle access
Check the gate, tight bends, low branches, overhead cables and space for manoeuvring. Do not assume the vehicle’s dimensions: discuss access restrictions for the planned delivery.
Tell us if the approach is narrow, steep or restricted for heavy vehicles. A postcode alone does not describe the conditions at your property.
Prepare a place for the pallets
Choose a stable, level area accessible to the agreed unloading equipment. Loose gravel, grass, kerbs and steps can prevent pallet movement. Moving a pallet into a garage or boiler room must be agreed after checking access.
Clear the route between the vehicle and the agreed drop-off point. Arrange protection from rain immediately after delivery.
Confirm your unloading equipment
Select Yes or No in the enquiry form. If you have equipment, specify its type and lifting capacity when confirming the order. Its suitability must be checked against the entire shipment. A pallet truck alone cannot unload a pallet from every vehicle.
If you have no equipment, select No. We will discuss available assistance, its scope and price before confirmation.
Agree the date and handover
The indicative timeframe within Poland is 2–5 working days; international deliveries are arranged individually. The exact date is confirmed with the offer.
Provide a reachable telephone number and arrange for an authorised person to receive the delivery.
